REVIEW: Daryl & Jeff Gowar
Just a quick note to let you know - WOW! We had the most fantastic time in Kgalagadi!
Douwe, Comfort & Rooi Jan were all exceptional and we were looked after beyond our expectations!
The camping area in Botswana was out of this world, Douwe said he was involved in choosing it and without a doubt it was absolutely fantastic!
We are definitely looking forward to our next adventure
Starting in Twee Rivieren where the red dunes and scrub fade into infinity, our tour takes us north where imposing camel thorn trees provide shade for huge black-mane lions - this is the Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park which lies in the large sand-filled basin in the west of the southern African subcontinent, known as the Kalahari.
The Kgalagadi is popular for its sightings of majestic birds of prey and if we’re lucky, we’ll get to spot raptors and eagles. If we’re in the right place at the right time, we might even be honored with a sighting of the rare Lesser Spotted Eagle.
